Growing in Grace

Hi, I am Calvin. I’m 11 years old. I had lots of consequences during my time not with Christ. Mostly because I am a sinner. Things I struggled with were having self-control, honesty and I was quick to anger. I told myself that I did not want to continue that way. I would listen to stories from Adventure’s in Odyssey and saw that sin leads to death. As a family we read the bible every night and those stories showed me how to trust God with my sin. I learned that salvation is a gift and I can do nothing to earn it. I want that gift! 

I still struggle with self-control, anger and other sins that I still have, but I know Jesus takes away my sin. I am practicing self-control and am slower to anger and want to seek reconciliation when there is a broken relationship. I want everyone to know that I believe in Christ.

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace. – Numbers 6:24-26
