About the jesus way

When Jesus gave His final words to His disciples, He didn’t leave a suggestion—He left a mission. “Go and make disciples.” It wasn’t a call just for the spiritual elite or full-time pastors. It was—and still is—for all of us.

Too often, we drift toward comfort, control, or cultural relevance. But the way of Jesus isn’t about any of those things. It’s about surrender. It’s about obedience. It’s about embracing the sacred responsibility of the Great Commission, not as a burden, but as a privilege.

This message calls us to shift from spiritual entitlement to spiritual engagement. To see that the local church isn’t a consumer space—it’s a commissioning place. It’s not about building our kingdom, but faithfully advancing His.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” — Matthew 28:19-20

The Jesus Way is the only way forward for CityBridge. Not a personality, not a program, not a preference—but a Person. And He’s already told us what He wants: go, make disciples, teach, baptize. This week, we’ll remember what we’re building and who we’re building it for.
