What God Did in 2025
Lead Pastor Brad Kirby
In 2024, the elders announced that Kyle Kaigler would be transitioning out of the lead pastor role and into a new position as City Engagement Director, and that CityBridge would begin a search for a new lead pastor. After months of prayer and input from church members, elders, and staff, God answered those prayers in June 2025 by appointing Brad Kirby as lead pastor. Brad and his wife Emily moved from Louisiana with their two children, and he quickly brought clarity and direction to our staff and has faithfully led our church through Scriptural teaching and pastoral care. We are excited to see how God will continue to use Brad to lead CityBridge as we serve our community and share the hope of the gospel in Collin County.
CityBridge Health Foundation Gala
Through the lavish generosity shown at our November gala, the Lord provided far beyond our expectations, surpassing our giving goal, growing our donor family, and inspiring new volunteers. It was a joy to see our church family invite friends and associates to join them in supporting the incredible work God is doing through this gospel-centered medical mission.
Our Team
This year we celebrated several staff members who answered God’s call to fulfill their next faithful step in sharing the love of Christ to the lost and vulnerable:
David Marvin: The Marvins have been a huge blessing to Collin County, where they will continue to impact as David joins the teaching staff at Prestonwood Baptist in Plano, TX.
Daniel Smith: Daniel followed God’s call to South Spring Baptist as their new director of church planting in Tyler, TX.
Meg McKinley: Earlier this year, Meg transitioned off of church staff into the role of the new Director of the CityBridge Health Foundation!
Andre Samson: After years of serving in our Kids & Family Ministries, Andre now brings his passion for discipleship as our new Family & Men’s Equipping Director.
CityBridge also added some exciting new members to the team!
Curt McClellan (Elder), Sarah Schmidt (Worship), JonCatherine Middleton (Students), Laura McDonald (Communications), Adam Smith (City Engagement), Victoria Walters & Erika Harrison (Kids)
Our Church
This is the first full year with our brand new North Parking Lot!
In May, eight students graduated from the CityBridge Institute after a year of hands-on ministry, learning to follow Jesus by serving alongside our staff and studying God’s Word.
Nearly 740 children participated in Skylark summer camp, and next summer we look forward to partnering with Connect Camps to reach even more kids with the gospel!
In the spring, our church went all in on calling and equipping the marriages in our body to greater excellence in oneness, mission, and engagement by walking through our new HOME marriage curriculum series.
Because of your generosity, CityBridge was able to serve our community through initiatives like Operation Christmas Child, the Kerrville Disaster Response, and the CityBridge Food Drive, supporting families impacted by the recent government shutdown.
