God’s At Work Here

About God’s At Work Here

Welcome to God’s at Work Here! This series invites us to dive deep into the ways God is actively working through us, aligning with CityBridge's vision to call all people to be fully devoted followers of Christ. As we embark on this journey, we will explore how we can embody the core values of the church in our daily lives—authenticity, a Bible-based foundation, true community, discipleship, and evangelism.

The heart of “God’s at Work Here” is to provide practical, real-world insights into how we can live out these values in a way that demonstrates God’s presence and power. Through authenticity, we reflect Christ’s transparency and integrity. Being Bible-based means grounding ourselves in the authority of God's Word, allowing it to shape our conscience and guide our steps. Community reminds us that we are called to live deeply connected with one another, sharing in life’s joys and burdens. Discipleship emphasizes the importance of growing in our faith and leading others to do the same. And through evangelism, we answer the call to seek and save the lost, just as Jesus did.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” — Acts 2:42-47

This series aims to show us that God is not just a distant observer but is actively working in and through our lives. As we seek to embody these values, we become living testimonies of His grace and power in our communities and beyond, fulfilling the mission to make disciples and engage with the world for Christ’s glory.
