women’s Care & equipping Director
I am a Collin County girl with roots here in North Texas. Raised on Adventures in Odyssey tapes, I came to a faith in Christ early in my teens. In the following years I wrestled with finding my identity in my achievements and sought people to define my worth. It took a divorce in 2016 to show me that neither circumstances nor achievements define my worth. It was life-altering to discover that my identity could be and is secure when it is defined by my relationship with Christ.
As a former high school art teacher (Go Allen Eagles!), I love swapping teacher stories and celebrating all things student related. If I’m not up at the church then I am probably painting or making pottery. Creating art is a beautiful expression of God’s creation and love. When I am not painting, I enjoy kayaking, discussing philosophy or psychology, camping and taking any opportunity I can find to go on a travel adventure.
