Isabel Peacock

Women’s Equipping Coordinator

Saludos! I grew up in the Dallas area attending church and hearing of Jesus, but I didn’t appreciate what faith meant to me. Upon high school graduation, I was pregnant and despite my fears chose to have my son. Soon I was married, divorced, and in another relationship with my now husband, Jimmy. Looking back God in his kindness allowed me to feel the pain of my sin. Searching for God we walked into a service at Watermark. I asked God to silence my thoughts and open my ears. I heard the message of God’s love. The pastor repeatedly declared, “God loves you.” By God’s grace, I believed his love for me, and in time, I chose to love him and began to learn what it meant to love others (1 John 4:19).

The more I connected to this local church, the more I wanted to be a part of it- specifically through vocational ministry. But God assigned me to be a SAHM for some time. Here I grew in character and practiced what it meant to be a Godly wife, mother and servant. I gave my life away and found it. At the ideal time God connected me to a position on the Women’s team that I have dreamed of! I’m happy to serve in a whole new way because of Christ.

I love the outdoors and also have severe outdoor allergies. I am a wannabe gardener and ceviche connoisseur. I still date my husband Jimmy, and we have three remarkable kids, Nathen, Titus, and Stella, who floor me in humility because they are such a treat!
