What is Plano Experience?

Plano Experience is our local mission trip right here in Collin County, and we are so excited to bring it back this year! In Matthew 28, Jesus calls his followers to make disciples as they are going, in every place and every moment. We want your student to be a part of what God is already doing right here at home in Collin County!

Each day has a fun and meaningful rhythm. Students start the morning with a devotional to set their hearts in the right direction, then they head out to serve the community at local sites throughout Collin County. After lunch, they serve at a second location before coming back together to play games, celebrate wins, and reflect on how God showed up that day. Every student is placed on a color team and spends the whole week in the same van with a dedicated adult leader, so by the end of the week, they are not just teammates, they are family.

Why do we do this?

Jesus said he came not to be served, but to serve (Mark 10:45), and we want that same posture to mark your student's week, and ultimately their life. We also know that sharing faith can feel intimidating, but 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us that God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. We want students to experience that truth firsthand, stepping out to serve sacrificially and share the gospel even when it feels a little scary.

Our prayer is that your student comes home seeing Plano differently, loving their neighbors more, and carrying a confidence that their faith is real and worth sharing

This will NOT be an overnight event, our team will not be hosting sleepovers.

Time: 8am-5pm - Mon-Thur

Who can attend Plano Experience: Middle School Students Only - 6th-8th

How many spots will we have: 44 Spots Total
