4B Membership Assessment
CityBridge Family,
The mission of our church is to call all people to full devotion to Christ (Luke 14:27). By “full devotion,” we mean living as disciples who make disciples—men and women who Believe in Christ as Savior and Lord, Belong to His church through committed community, to Be equipped in His Word for spiritual growth, and to Be engaged in His mission to make Christ known. This is the lifelong journey of following Jesus with our whole lives and inviting others to do the same.
Since stepping out in faith as our own church five years ago, we have sought to live faithfully into this calling by anchoring ourselves in our core values of Authenticity, being Bible-Based, Community, Discipleship, and Engagement. It has been a deep joy to partner with you as we witness God at work—watching members of the body discover and deploy their gifts, serve with faithfulness, and steward their time and resources to advance God’s mission here at CityBridge.
CityBridge is a local expression of Christ’s church—a body and a family—made up of imperfect people who are deeply loved by a perfect God. We all come to Jesus broken by sin and in need of mercy, grace, and forgiveness. Through faith in Christ, we are met with His love and forgiveness, and our relationship with God is made right through Him (Ephesians 2:4–5). And even now, as a redeemed people, we wake each day dependent on His grace, grateful that His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22–23).
As we look ahead, we sense the Lord stirring fresh life among us. There is a growing joy, expectancy, and spiritual energy at CityBridge—like a coiled spring, ready to be released. God is clearly at work, drawing people to Himself and shaping us with renewed vision and purpose. We believe He has brought each of us here for such a time as this, calling us forward together in the joyful and urgent work of making disciples who make disciples. With grateful hearts and eager faith, we look to the future, trusting that what God has begun among us, He will faithfully carry forward for His glory.
Just think - the sovereign Creator of the universe has intentionally brought you to CityBridge—and faithfully kept you here—through every season for this very moment of spiritual growth and renewal. God is at work, and He has placed you here not only to witness what He is doing, but to participate in it. He has equipped you with gifts by His Spirit to be used for His purposes. We are deeply grateful to walk alongside you, to serve and labor together in the weeks, months, and years ahead, confident that in the Lord, our steadfast work is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
Each year we take the opportunity for every member at CityBridge to complete the 4B Membership Assessment for two purposes. First, it provides an opportunity for each member to voluntarily reaffirm their commitment to this local body, our covenant, and our shared beliefs and values. Second, it helps us as elders to faithfully shepherd the flock entrusted to our care (1 Peter 5:2; Acts 20:28), guiding us in how we can better encourage one another toward full devotion to Christ (Matthew 28:20). We watch over this church with great devotion and joy (Hebrews 13:17), and we look ahead with anticipation for all the ways the Lord will work in the coming year.
Please take about 10 minutes to fill out the 2026 4B Membership Assessment. The deadline for submitting your responses is February 8, 2026.
With faith-filled anticipation for the days ahead,
The Elders of CityBridge Community Church
